Corinne Meadors is an American actor whose career has been shaped by a lifelong love of storytelling, music, and both the performing and visual arts. Having lived and worked on both the East and West Coasts - and spending five transformative years in London - she brings a broad perspective and an appreciation for the people, places, and experiences that have shaped both her life and her work.

Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Corinne spent much of her life on the East Coast before moving to San Francisco in the months following September 11, 2001. It was there that she met her husband, and together they built a life in Sacramento County that eventually included becoming a mother of two children. Motherhood became the most meaningful role of her life, changing the way she sees the world but at the same time immersing herself into an even deeper one.

Corinne credits her parents, Pierre and Leslie, with nurturing her creative spirit from an early age. They encouraged her and her siblings to pursue their individual callings, fostering a lifelong love of music, performance, and learning. It was her parents who initially introduced her to the stage.

​

She earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she studied Art History and Vocal Performance. Previously, Her artistic training took her to Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA, and later on to H.B. Studio in New York City in her younger years and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England in her older years. Her training also includes many teachers and workshops who contributed insight and expertise. These experiences broadened her understanding of character, storytelling, and the craft of acting.

Before focusing primarily on film and television, Corinne enjoyed an accomplished independent career as a classical soprano. She performed as a soloist in works including Handel's Messiah, Fauré's Requiem, Rutter's Gloria, Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music, and Elgar's Sea Pictures. She toured the Czech Republic and Hungary with Virtuosi Pragenses and the Chatham Chorale (of Cape Cod), appeared with Cape Cod Opera and San Francisco Lyric Opera, and later collaborated with composer Dr. Theodore Frazeur on a recording of his composition Vocalise. She was also a member of Sacramento's women's vocal ensemble Vox Musica when her children were toddlers.

Although her professional focus has evolved, music remains woven into the fabric of her life. Classical music has been a constant companion for as long as she can remember, and jazz has long inspired her with its freedom, soul, and spontaneity. The discipline, emotional honesty, and musical sensitivity she developed as a singer continue to shape her work as an actor, reminding her that every performance begins with listening.

Living in London further broadened Corinne's perspective, immersing her in a rich artistic community and exposing her to people from around the world. Those years strengthened her belief that storytelling has the unique ability to bridge cultures, challenge assumptions, and remind us of our shared humanity.

Today, Corinne considers herself at home on both coasts. The history and traditions of New England, the creativity and openness of California, and the international experiences she gained while living abroad have each become an essential part of the artist and person she is today.

​

Whether she's stepping onto a film set, into a rehearsal room, or simply discovering a new piece of music or art, Corinne remains endlessly curious about people and the stories they carry.

She believes the most meaningful stories don't simply entertain, they invite us to see ourselves in one another. Through film, music, and the quiet moments in between, Corinne is continually drawn to work that reflects our shared humanity with honesty, compassion, and hope.
